Joyce Jordan, our Cadenza accompanist, grew up in Cleveland Heights, Ohio.  She came to the University of Kansas where she graduated with honors in both Music Therapy and Music Education.  She taught elementary general music, and was later a substitute teacher in Lawrence for many years.  Joyce served as the choral assistant/accompanist for the Lawrence High School choral program and then held a similar position at Bishop Seabury Academy.  She continues to play for local soloists, ensembles and church services.  Beyond music, Joyce enjoys playing with her grandkids, traveling and hiking.
